I've never been fit in my life and recently realised if I wanted to become obese, unhealthy and unfit when I'm older, I'm heading in the right direction.

I'm now in my third month of my bootcamp and whilst its hard work, I can't seem to stay away... As a result I have more energy, self-respect and determination than ever before.

I joined Bootcamp because I know I'm not motivated enough to keep going to the gym. Senior Sergeant and his team have motivated and inspired me to keep on the jog and stick at it. I can't thank them enough.

I'm not at my goal weight or fitness yet but I have no doubt I'm now heading in the right direction!

Having started bootcamp in April 2007, I consider myself a veteran but no matter how many months or years I continue to do bootcamp, I am constantly challenged and continue to see the results. Bootcamp has taught me so many things, not just physical fitness but the mental aspects that i have learnt are phenomenal, bootcamp is a rewarding experience to say the least. Rob and the instructors are inspiring and dedicated to providing anyone who wants to improve their life through fitness and a healthy lifestyle. Rob teaches people to go outside of their comfort zone and if you work hard and if you want something bad enough, anything is possible. I can guarantee having been there myself, no matter how hard you think something is, you can achieve it, you just need to believe in yourself. Bootcamp and HLF is the best thing that could have happened to me and one of the greatest learning experiences. I look forward to continuing this journey to creating a healthy fit and happy lifestyle. Keep up the great work Rob. Your dedication and inspiring work is a credit to you.

I am now into my 2nd month of Bootcamp, having survived the 1st! I was suprised at my results for only 1 month of training and this has inspired me to come back for more..My friends thought i had gone completely insane signing up at all let alone in winter of all times, but i have had so many comments which do make it all worthwile. Thanks to 2 great instructors and fantastic team!!! im looking forward to my 2nd month!!! hooyah

I am just completing my 7th month of Original Bootcamp, and I can’t wait for my 8th to start. Each session is something new and is still physically and mentally tough, despite my fitness improvement. I was the kind of person who wouldn’t even run for a bus if I was late – but now I run 3 times a week outside of Bootcamp, have just gone on my first 48HR Special Operations and actually enjoy exercising. The fantastic instructors and wonderful support from all recruits ( not just those in my platoon ) have given me a more positive outlook on training and life, for which I’ll be forever thankful.

I rarely write testimonials, In this case its different, many who read this may be looking for that last bit of encouragement! Some eight years ago I left an environment in which I had all the encouragement I needed to maintain a high level of fitness. Within 18 months I was close to obese and couldn’t jog a hundred metres. A couple of medical issues scared hell out of me and I carefully took up sport and gym again. The weight fell off and I regained most of my fitness within a year or so.

So I started with Original Boot Camp already comparatively fit. Why start, and why have I continued for almost a year now? I started soon after meeting Rob in his capacity as a Personal Trainer, just setting out with his business. Rob immediately impressed me with his enthusiasm and attitude toward his business and clients. I enjoy team sport, I need a challenge and gym is something of a solo activity in which you only challenge yourself. Karen, whom I met at gym, identified that I’d enjoy Boot Camp and she was so right!

My aims have been to maintain fitness, improve my confidence and wellbeing and to test myself against others. BC is the perfect activity for this. Led by Robs group of dedicated instructors, the sessions offer a great mix of team and individual exercises that are as enjoyable as they are beneficial and individually challenging.

I continue to address my goals which really aren’t all quantifiable. The group dynamics at BC always boost confidence, I’ve rarely been more comfortable with any group. As with any activity that introduces a level of personal adversity, the spirit of ‘mate-ship’ is increased and friendships I’ve made in BC will last forever too. Original Boot Camp delivers on all its claims, and then some. Fitness becomes fun. I acknowledge that at age 54 I’m amongst the oldest in Robs platoons, but I’ll be there while I can still swing a walking frame...
